AH!
A few words from the irish front.
First of all I watch “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”, the Terry Gilliam’s movie with Heath Ledger (Joker oh my Joker) as well as Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Collin Farrel. Impressive. Top 5 of this year, definitely (with “Inglorious Basterds” and… I will tell u later – not fucking clues at the mo)
When I say impressive I meant it : I ended up by buying “Lost in La Mancha” and “The Adventures of Baron Munchausen”. iLike.
Then… TGIF and this means that it was DEAF party with ModeSelektor. I DO love these guys. Remember watching them playing at Sonar 2007 (fucking good’ol’times), after Beastie Boys, with impressive visuals and good music…. especially when the tech guys are moving their turntables while they’re mixing. Which didn’t seem to bother them too much.
So here we went, with my friend Dave and his girl, and a friend of them (man need to remember ur name but I was wrecked (and I don’t have a good memory for names) (except if u repeat it 10 times in 5 minutes))
I ended up backstage, chatti-chatting with Seb, a half of the men. Additionnally, he’s kinda cool. Lovely boy in fact. Which is always good : u love the music, the guys rock, u love the music more. Me said.
Now I don’t know exactly what I will do, I have a fancy dress party tonite and do not have a costume, but I will improvise. Boom.
[edit] okay I didn’t spoke about the music of the guy – and I don’t care as it’s *my* diary not a musical review. Have a taste here and show them love by buying their whole discography as I did.
